Nevaeh Norwood, the 16-year-old girl who had been missing since Jan. 20, was found safe earlier today in Waco, according to Temple Police Department.

Temple PD has activated a local Amber Alert for 16-year-old Nevaeh Norwood, missing since January 20 after walking away from a friend's house.

Out of an abundance of caution, the Temple Police Department requested a local area Amber Alert, which is referred to as an “Athena” alert, which is activated within a 100-mile radius.
