The winger had a hearing with the league after being assessed a match penalty for pushing Tim Stützle’s face into the ice after a faceoff.

Hartman, 30, missed the Wild's game on Tuesday then declared on Wednesday that he would appeal to the league his 10-game suspension. There is no set timetable on how long the appeal will take but Hartman is hoping for the suspension to be less than 10 games.

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman was suspended for the fifth time in his career. He also has been fined seven times.
