It’s Day Two of the 2025 IIHF World Championships, and all three Vancouver Canucks’ representatives teams were in action after kicking off the tournament on Boxing Day.

IIHF World Junior Championships have officially kicked off, and all three Vancouver Canucks prospects were in action — or close to it — on Boxing Day.

While Axel Sandin-Pellikka grabbed the headlines with a four-point game, Tom Willander led Team Sweden in ice time.

On the second day of the 2025 World Juniors, two of three Vancouver Canucks prospects took part in the tournament’s games. Team Canada’s Sawyer Mynio was not registered to start the tournament, and sat out tonight in the team’s game against Latvia.

The World Juniors are less than a week out, and the excitement is already building as two Vancouver Canucks prospects, Sawyer Mynio and Tom Willander, prepare to face off in a much-anticipated Canada vs.
