Fijian boxer Ubayd Haider, who collapsed and fell into a coma after his fight with China’s Runqi Zhou last month, has died. Haider, formerly known as Nathaniel Singh, lost by TKO to Australia-based Runqi during their IBO Asia Pacific Super Featherweight title fight on October 26.

Fiji professional boxer Ubayd Haider has died more than two weeks after he collapsed at the end of an IBO Asia Pacific Super Featherweight title fight against Chinese boxer Runqi Zhou in Nadi, Fiji. He was 25.

The 25-year-old had been in a coma in hospital since the fight in the Fijian capital against Chinese boxer Zhou Runqi on October 26.
