Former Los Angeles Chargers coaches just keep making waves during the hiring cycle. Right on the heels of a former Chargers coach landing a job as a coordinator with the Miami Dolphins, another has landed with the Carolina Panthers.

The Carolina Panthers have continued to churn their defensive coaching staff. Their latest move: Moving on from a big-name assistant coach, DeAngelo Hall, after two seasons.

If that happens the Panthers should look to the free agent market to replace him rather than using precious draft capital that has to be spent elsewhere. According to David Latham from Last Word on Sports, Carolina should target Los Angeles Chargers cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. in free agency.
