A woman returned to her roots more than 400 years after her ancestors and alongside President Joe Biden at that. In December, President Biden made history by become the first sitting president to visit the African country of Angola.

History came alive Monday morning at Fort Monroe in Hampton where U.S. Congressman Bobby Scott joined Dr. Wanda Tucker and her family for a roundtable discussion. The discussion aimed to find ways to preserve more than 400 years of stories from African American slaves from Angola,
