This marks the first time USC GM Chad Bowden has worked for a college football program without Marcus Freeman on staff. Their association dates to 2017.

At USC's national signing day press conference on Wednesday, Bowden met with the media for the first time as a Trojan. During his interview, he shared some insight on why he decided to leave Notre Dame in order to be a part of Riley's staff at USC.

Chad Bowden was hired as USC's general manager on Jan. 24, a few days after Notre Dame's defeat to Ohio State in the national championship game.

Chad Bowen, previously an assistant athletic director at CFP finalist Notre Dame, will lead the reorganization of USC football's front office.
