Myanmar’s ethnic groups fighting to oust the junta criticized China for hosting military chief Min Aung Hlaing in the country this week, and said India has reached out for talks with the shadow government and some armed rebels.

Myanmar's junta leader visited China on Tuesday to join regional meetings in Kunming, the capital of southwestern Yunnan Province, state television reported, in the military commander-in-chief's first trip to China since a coup in February 2021 ousted the elected civilian government led by Aung San Suu Kyi.
