Netherlands secured a semi-final spot while England came back from four goals down to draw against Germany as Matchday 2 of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship concluded.

England found themselves 5-1 down in the 48th minute, but four goals in 11 second-half minutes helped the young side earn an unlikely draw.

Germany have also won what is now known as the Under-19s Euros six times, but two of those triumphs came before the tournament was rebranded from an under-18 competition. England's sole women's victory came in 2009, and they were beaten finalists in 2007, 2010 and 2013.
