Kyle Hendricks, who had been the last player remaining from the Chicago Cubs’ 2016 World Series team, is nearing a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Angels, according to a source briefed on the negotiations.

Chicago Cubs pitcher Kyle Hendricks is headed to the Los Angeles Angels on a one-year deal, 670's The Score's Bruce Levine reported. MLB Network's Jon Heyman is reporting the deal is worth around $3 million.
