BOSTON - Karen Read's attempt to get some criminal charges against her thrown out on the grounds of double jeopardy came before the highest court in Massachusetts Wednesday.

The latest chapter in the Karen Read saga moves to the state's highest court, where her attorneys Wednesday are hoping to convince judges that several charges related to the death of her Boston police officer boyfriend should be dropped.

Attorneys will make oral arguments today before the state‘s highest court on whether the state should be able to retry Karen Read on all charges.
