Daniels is the 14th player to commit to Oklahoma during the 2024-25 transfer portal season. He is the first linebacker commitment in the Sooners' portal class and only the second defensive player, joining Florida State defensive end Marvin Jones Jr., who committed to OU on Sunday.

The Oklahoma Sooners just got some great transfer portal news, as they steered away an Oklahoma State player to join the bright side over in Norman, Oklahoma.

The Sooners brought in the Florida State starter for a campus visit this week, and apparently Jones' visit went extremely well.

Oklahoma State football added 12 players over the past week, with 8 from the transfer portal, 3 from junior college and 1 high school prospect

One of Oklahoma State’s top defenders in the portal is staying in the state. On Monday, Hayes Fawcett of On3 reported that transfer safety Kendal Daniels has committed to Oklahoma. Daniels spent the first four seasons of his career at OSU and was a staple of the Cowboys' defense throughout the past three years.
