Users of several social media platforms are being urged to reset their passwords following findings of a vast data breach in a recent Cybernews investigation.

More than 16 billion login credentials for Google, Facebook, Apple and other platforms have been exposed in one of the largest cybersecurity data breaches of all time, according to a Cybernews report.

“This is not just a leak—it’s a blueprint for mass exploitation,” researchers said. “With over 16 billion login records exposed, cybercriminals now have unprecedented access to personal credentials that can be used for account takeover, identity theft, and highly targeted phishing.”
