A mountain lion was spotted in western Frisco, near Lewisville Lake, in early November, according to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

Brent Blackwell said he saw the mountain lion on his camera Friday and reported it to the Department of Parks and Wildlife.

A mountain lion has been confirmed to be in the area after sighting reports. Frisco police confirm that after reviewing surveillance footage the reported sighting Monday is that of a mountain lion.
