The Trump administration released a new artificial intelligence blueprint on Wednesday that aims to loosen environmental rules and vastly expand AI exports to allies, in a bid to maintain the American edge over China in the critical technology.
Trump’s late-July AI action plan effectively rolled back export restrictions on Nvidia’s H200 chips while loosening permitting rules for AI data centers. Huang called it a “critical tailwind” for keeping America’s AI edge.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Wednesday she does not think President Trump supports federal agencies contracting with Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence (AI) company. “I
